It sounds like you got a really good price for your Carina. In the UK I think people go online to auto trader and ebay etc but when I was looking for the Starlet I went Google crazy and checked out all sorts of places. Eventually I found it through Motors.co.uk.
BTW My father has just bought himself a red Celica from 2004 through a Toyota dealer. He's almost 70 and having a very late mid life crisis I think!

nah i got a call right on the next day and 2 more on the next. the 2nd caller came within 2hrs and gave me 2.2k euros, i couldnt refuse coz its been stading in our drive since i got the celica in april and i needed it gone with several parts to be repaired/changed...

IF anyone does want to join the Celica Club at Billing on 16+17th of August for a camping weekend let me know. It's going to be a laid back camping weekend. Few beers, BBQ, talking about Jap cars etc. there will also be a giant American car show at the same time.
